Johannes Hüppi
Johannes Hüppi (*1965, Baden-Baden) finds his secrets in the outside world and translates them into small format paintings. While his fellow students at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf focused on large, loud, and provocative works, Hüppi’s inspiration comes from the subtle details and moments. He captures their atmosphere in partly surreal, partly gently dazzling paintings.
