Leonhard Wachter (*1995, Leisnig, Germany) combines figurative observation with a contemporary perception shaped by today’s constant flow of digital imagery. Urban scenes, fragmented moments and an intense use of colour move between figuration and abstraction. He began studying at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle in 2018 and joined Tilo Baumgärtel’s painting class in 2022.
