Pauline T. Schulte (*1996, Gießen, Germany) lives and works in Gießen. In her multi-layered, often large-scale paintings, she combines strong colour contrasts with themes of identity, nostalgia and emotional ambivalence. Recurring motifs such as the cactus become symbols of resilience and inner strength.
